It was early in the morning on April, 21st in Harrison, Arkansas. A fire was raging Pace Industries, where aluminum die casts are manufactured. Firefighters responded quickly, and were able to get the 31 workers out before anyone was injured. However there was significant damage to the building and the machines inside.
Below are some pictures of the building during and after the fire.
Continental Machinery Movers is currently working with Pace Industries on a recovery mission. We are moving these machines so the area and the machines can be salvaged and repaired. This project will likely go into early July as a large portion of the building was damaged.
Pace Division President Scott Conquest is confident that they will get the plant back up and running and return to full production soon. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
