The web is changing… are you ready?

Responsive web design is the response to the increasing use of tablets and phones to access websites.  The design is able to expand and contract to fit any size screen that a user could be using to access your site.  responsive-design-example


John Polacek, a web developer and designer, has come up with a great presentation to explain what responsive website design is.  A very good example of a responsive website is The Boston Globe’s website.

Responsive web design is such a hot topic because it’s an entirely different way to present your website and eliminates the need for mobile versions of websites.  It also lets you create a website based solely on its design instead of focusing on the various ways users could be looking at your website.
